This would probably be the best book in the Bridgerton series so far.
It is the love story of the 3rd Bridgerton Son Colin and Penelope Featheringon.
Penelope was always seen as the girl next door, she was practically like a sister to Colin, growing up as family friends, they were very familiar with one another and their respective families.
Penelope has had a crush on Colin since the day she first met him, but her love was unrequited. Colin was a dreamer, he travelled overseas, was always looking for the next adventure, he was charming, sophisticated, talented, intelligent and good-looking. He was every girls dream.
Penelope comes across as shy, reserved, self conscious of her looks and was always the last asked to dance at the Ton balls.
The love story of Colin and Penelope is exceedingly romantic and beautiful, I finished this book in only a few days. It is a book that you can not put down.
