Review: The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins

The Girl on the Train The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

I found this book quite difficult to read initially, It was confusing, like reading the diaries of 3 different people at the same time, quite jumbled up.

Once I got used the unique format, I was able to settle in and enjoy the story.

Rachel (the main character) is a troubled alcoholic, with a depressing past that never seems to be able to escape from. As a reader, you can relate to her depression, her and her embarrassment. She is an emotional wreck that is treated like garbage by everyone around her.

The ending of the book is mind blowing, it is worth pushing your way through it to the very end, without trying to ruin the plot for those that haven't read this, all I can say is Kudos to Rachel, she is an amazing strong woman.
